The sun came up...

The sun came up, and I was here to see it happen. That's a good first step.

Irey lost, but I did all I could do. That's a good feeling; even if tinged with sadness.

In a matter of days voters will begin to realize what they've voted for. Let's hope that 'throwing the baby out with the bath water' doesn't become a lament as the Democratic vision(?) becomes clear.

The Democrats rejoice, our enemies around the world rejoice, and the people of Iraq can't help but recoil in fear.

There is a dim silver lining in those dark skies. The next two years will reveal what the Democrats are, and are not. They can't hide behind words alone... their actions may be enough to galvanize the American electorate into seeing the truth.

Time will tell.
